About LWOPG, 2017
The Laser World of Photonics is the world’s leading trade fair when it comes to all components, systems and applications that relate to photonics; this encapsulates a huge range of industries and products.
The Laser World of Photonics hosts a number of annual shows, with one of these always being based in Munich. It has been hosted in this city since 1973! This is one of the largest of the Laser World of Photonics events, with 55,000 square meters of space for exhibitors, over 1,200 exhibitors from 70 countries and over 31,000 visitors. These were the recorded numbers from the LWOPG 2015 show, and they are expecting even more visitors this year.
Germany is ideally placed in the centre of the world to attract visitors from dozens of countries, bringing together innovative new ideas, ground-breaking products and a chance for new light to be shone upon the industry.
The Laser World of Photonics is the parent company of all of the annual events, with the other main partners being the Laser World of Photonics China and the Laser World of Photonics India. It sets a high standard for the quality of the products and exhibitors on offer, so each event is always a celebration of the best in the industry.
