Directorate Changes

SPI Lasers plc (AIM:SPIL) today announces the resignation of Graham Meek (non-executive Chairman), and non-executive Directors Peter Schultz and David Payne, and the appointment of, Peter Bokelmann, Steffen Scholz, and Dr. Lars Gruenert from TRUMPF International  Beteiligungs-GmbH ("TRUMPF") to the Board of SPI Lasers as Non-Executive Directors with immediate effect. This follows the announcement on 8 October 2008 that the recommended cash offer by TRUMPF had been declared wholly unconditional.

There are no further disclosures to be made regarding the appointments under Schedule 2 paragraph (g) of the AIM rules.
