SPI Lasers LLC Moves into new 3,500sqft Facility

SPI Lasers LLC announces the move into a new 3,500 sqft facility. Strong sales growth over the past year in cw fiber lasers for a wide variety of machining applications required the move. The new facility houses the application lab with both a high-end motion system and a Crafford Fiberstar handheld welding system. It also offers product support, technical and customer service and is the base for the US sales team.
Silke Pflueger, Director of Sales for North America, comments: "This new facility will enable us to concentrate even more on the needs of our North American customer base, and excel in service and support. We are able to train our customers here, and will offer seminars on fiber lasers and their applications. Our applications lab enables us to carry out proof-of-principle work for interested customers, and invites interested customers to come in with their samples for a demonstration of the capabilities of the laser."
SPI Lasers offers a “try before you buy” service across North America where companies can evaluate a fibre laser up to 200W in output power free of charge for 15-30 days. These customers have full access to the applications lab to create proof of principle samples showing the lasers suitability for the machining task. The lasers are ideal for cutting, welding and marking of a wide variety of materials.
SPI Lasers has a new web site containing not only data sheets and company information, but also a wealth of application information and technical papers covering the use of fiber lasers in a variety of applications. It also allows interested customers to apply directly for a laser in the demo pool, and to look at the ROI for your laser investment.
