US West Coast Sales Manager
Background
Reporting to the General manager USA the sales Manager – West Coast acts as the primary contact for industrial fibre laser account development for the West Coast of the USA. The role is based out of the SPI Lasers LLC Santa Clara Office and involves regular travel in Western USA.
Role
Responsible for the introduction and development of sales of SPIs industrial fiber laser portfolio into US OEM’s integrators and end users.
The job will involve a high degree of face to face customer contact and travel taking opportunities from raw sales leads and developing them to key accounts. Support materials will be supplied by the SPI Applications laboratories.
Previous Experience
Preferably 5 years experience of US industrial laser sales. Previous experience of key account management within US West Coast region. Proven track record in opening new accounts and closing high value deals.
Technical background. Proven sales methodology. Self starter with high levels of drive and self motivation.
Technically qualified in engineering, laser support, materials science or a similarly related laser applications field or significant field based experience in these areas. Sales training and sales methodology.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have experience of international travel, will be a self starter with strong interpersonal skills and a strong execution oriented approach. They will be a focussed and organized sales professional with good interpersonal skills and ability to present technical and commercial messages across all layers of management simply and effectively.
